My dad used the same Silver Nitrate. It has a use. This colloidal silver solution is different. With electrolysis, silver is suspended in a water solution.

We now make it ourselves.

It is used to purify water in countries like Mexico , (the Republic of), and it is used to keep water safe aboard space craft. It is used to disinfect, it is a natural antibiotic…..also cuts inflammation and pain. Really fascinating. Older that Jesus…that is true.

Look it up on Google and you will read all day.

I used to frown on all this but I am learning in Mexico, even at my advanced age of seventy something. I don’t remember exactly ¿….yes I do…I am 74.

Also look up medical-dental uses of Ozone.

I laughed at this also, but after researching it, I do not now. It is used in all the world except English speaking countries….including Canada. We also make this ourselves now. It is used by Dentists in California and sold by the bottle to stop bad breath.

Only problem is that it is only stable for a day or two.

I guess we are too educated and too smart to learn anything new and useful.

Anyway, I am not too old to learn. I think that is a big problem for doctors of any kind. We get the idea that after we graduate and get the degree we know ALL AND THAT WHAT WE WERE TAUGHT IN SCHOOL IS THE GOSPEL TRUTH.

The old story is that there are doctors that teach and those that practice. The idea being that those that teach could have a hard time making a living due to bad performance or lack of personality….and maybe have never worked on a live patient.

One advantage of retirement practice is that I can go at the pace I like, I can take time to study patients problems. The internet is such a great tool for learning providing you are sure of the source.

Anyway, those are my thoughts for this morning. Have a good Dental day.
